With the inauguration of the third Leitz Park section, another Leica product line will be launched: wristwatches. With the opening of the “Ernst Leitz Werkstätten” the german manufacturer introduces two models: Leica L1 and Leica L2.
During the last few months of last year I bought and shot with a number of different cameras (Olympus OMD EM1ii, Fujifilm X-T2, Nikon D500, Leica CL, Nikon D810 and Nikon D850 and finally the Panasonic Lumix G9 with the excellent Leica branded lenses). I wanted to get a real handle on the current status of the camera world.
To celebrate the inauguration of the third phase of the Leitz Park complex, Leica Camera AG presents a strictly limited edition of selected camera models:
With the Leica M10 ‘Edition Zagato’, Leica Camera AG presents a new special edition that unites the best of German craftsmanship and Italian design. Comprising a camera and a Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens, the set takes its name from Dr Andrea Zagato, owner of the design house and automotive styling specialist, who personally designed the limited edition, restricted to 250 pieces worldwide.
New firmware versions for the Leica CL (v.2.0), Leica TL2 (v1.4) and Leica T(v1.8)/TL(v2.3) are available for download now. The update is offering improvements, new features and bug fixes.
Leica has released a major firmware update (v3.0) for the Leica Q (Type 116) which was introduced three years ago.
Today Leica released the firmware update v 220.127.116.11 for the Leica M10 – it brings an improved Auto ISO option, a revised Delete dialog and more.
